Mountain ski carnival in Gorny Altai
“Novy sneg” mountain ski carnival will take place in the Republic of Altay, Teletskoe Lake, in February 10-12. Not only professional snowboarders and skiers but also amateurs are welcome to take part.The carnival is held on initiative of tour agencies club of Teletskoe Lake – “Edem” resort, “Yurtok” tour-eco-centre, “Ritol’” mountain ski school, “Biya” tour complex, “Taezhnaya” hotel and “Laguna” resort. A plan on reconstruction of old and building of new hotels will be worked out within the Olympic programme. All hotels and resort of the city have to be classified at first, Vladimir Strzhalkovsy, head of tourism federal agency reports.
“Density of resorts’ charge in summer has to be taken into consideration. This will allow us to use new hotels after the Olympic Games more effectively”, - Vladimir Strzhalkovsky says.
