Information and tourist centre conducting excursions to Royal castle in Kaliningrad.
“Royal castle” information and tourist centre will be solemnly opened on the 31st of March in Kaliningrad. The presentation will be held in “Kaliningrad” hotel.
The centre will provide guests of the region with detailed information on Kaliningrad and the region, attractions, business service and cultural events, excursions and so on. The centre will provide with an excursion to archeological excavations of the Royal castle.
The castle was erected in Koenigsberg in the 13th century. Visits from the first Russian Ambassadors of Vasily III prince were received in Moscow chambers of the castle in 1511. The Amber room was kept in the palace during the Great Patriotic War. The castle was destroyed during bomb attacks in the August of 1944.
